Flowing River Sangha of the Luzerne Foundation

In the spirit of RISE–Recognize, Inspire, Serve and Empower– we come together as Flowing River Sangha to uplift unhoused neighbors and children with compassion and care. We honor our Founder, Sister Barbara Craig, a Sister of Mercy whose vow to serve those in poverty, especially women and children, continues to guide our path  serving the community for 27 years. Your generosity will help us support the RISE of unhoused women to create a hospitality space at Ruth's Place; Children's extra-curricular activities and events-- Misericordia's Woman with Children Program; Multiply our efforts to send more children to The Peace and Justice Center Peace Camp! By recognizing the dignity in every person, inspiring hope, serving with open hearts, and empowering brighter futures, we carry her legacy forward–offering love, shelter and support where it is needed most.
