Wayne Tomorrow! Cultivating a Vibrant Future

For over thirteen years, Wayne County has been on a journey, one that began during a difficult moment in our community's history. When tensions rose over fracking and lines were drawn across our towns, neighbors and families, our Commissioners made a courageous choice. Instead of accepting the division, they created a space to bring the people of our community back to the same table and build a shared future- Wayne Tomorrow! was born. 

Today, Wayne Tomorrow! has grown into a broad, forward-looking, Commissioner-led initiative dedicated to strengthening our county from the ground up. It identifies our areas of weaknesses, leans into our strengths and transforms big ideas into real projects that secure a brighter future generations to come. Our efforts are rooted in the goals laid out in our Comprehensive Plan- choosing cooperation over conflict. 

Through the generosity and support of our community we have accomplished so much: 
- The Stourbridge Tech Hub has become a modern engine for innovation and local entrepreneurship 
- Broadband expansion has brought reliable internet to Southern Wayne County, opening doors for the Sterling Business Park to create local jobs 
- Our comprehensive Agricultural Development Plan, the creation of the AgroLegacy brand and its food lockers are helping farmers preserve their heritage while building sustainable futures. 
- And the Northeast Regional Crisis Stabilization Center is brining compassionate, lifesaving mental health support to those who need it most. 

Each project is a testament to what happens when a rural community refuses to be left and imagine what tomorrow could look like, and then work together to build it. 

Our work is far from finished.
