Tango’s Wiggle-Butt Fundraiser

Hi everyone, Tango here.

I'm glad you are here so I can share my story with you. People used to call me Aldo, but now I’m Tango and the name fits me perfectly! From what I remember about my early life, I was surrendered in the Bronx, sick and hurting, with a peach pit stuck in my belly. Thankfully some kind people from Adopt a Boxer Rescue stepped in to help. They made sure I got the surgery I needed and surrounded me with people who cared for me while I healed. I had a wonderful foster family for a few months, and they gave me a space filled with patience, kindness, and love. Then, last June, I found my forever family.

From the moment I arrived, it felt like I had always belonged. I settled in quickly, as if I had been waiting for this home all along. These days, my life is full of all the things a dog could dream of: curling up on the couch with my humans, soaking up the sunshine on the deck, exploring my big backyard, chasing exciting scents, zooming around at top speed, and, of course, convincing everyone that I deserve one more belly rub.

I’m so lucky that Adopt a Boxer Rescue helped connect me with my forever mom and dad. Every day, I wake up healthy, happy, and surrounded by people who adore me and who are making it their mission to give me the best life possible. My humans say that I’m the best boy and that THEY are the lucky ones! If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that every dog deserves the chance to heal, to be loved, and to find a place to call home.

But there are still so many dogs waiting for their second chance. That’s why my humans and I are hosting this fundraiser ~ to help more rescue dogs get the medical care, support, and loving homes they deserve.
