Hi… my name is Malbec.

I was only three years old when I was surrendered to AABR, but I had already lived a whole lifetime.

I used to have an owner who wanted to become a breeder. I didn’t understand what that meant — I just knew that one day I had puppies, and suddenly my whole world changed. I wasn’t a family member.  I was a “boxerwho could make money.”

I’m telling you my story because there are so many boxers just like me. Boxers who were bought because someone wanted to try breeding. Boxers who were surrendered when it didn’t work out. Boxers who were never treated like family in the first place.

When you buy a dog, especially from backyard breeders or people “trying it out,” you often support a cycle of:

🚫 Overbreeding🚫 Poor living conditions🚫 Lack of vet care🚫 Dogs being discarded when they’re no longer profitable

NEPA Gives is more than a fundraiser. It’s the reason boxers like me get pulled from bad situations and placed into loving homes.

Your donation helps AABR: 🐾 Rescue surrendered breeding dogs🐾 Provide medical care for moms and puppies 🐾 Transport dogs out of unsafe environments🐾 Place them in foster homes🐾 Give them the chance to be loved — maybe for the first time

I’m living proof that rescue works.

I got my second chance.I  got my family. I got my soft bed and my toys and my safe life full of cuddles.

But there are so many boxers still waiting — scared, confused, and hoping someone will see them the way AABR saw me.

During NEPA Gives, you can be the reason another boxer gets rescued instead of forgotten.

Donate. Share. Advocate.Help the next little boxer mama, just like me, find her forever.

💛 Give a boxer a break. Give them a chance. Give them a life.

I’m living proof that adoption changes everything.
