Shaping More Than Clay
At Kettle Creek Pottery we believe clay can change lives.
What began as a small pottery studio in the historic Village of Snydersville has grown into a creative campus dedicated to arts access, mental wellness, and community connection in the Pocono region.
But we are more than pottery. We are:
A safe space for retired neighbors seeking purpose and connection
A scholarship program for children who otherwise could not afford creative classes
An inclusive studio serving individuals with special needs and members of the hearing-impaired community
A gathering place where stress softens, hands get muddy, and people breathe again
Why Clay?
There is something profoundly grounding about clay.
You press your hands into it.
You slow down.
You focus.
You breathe.
We’ve watched veterans relax at the wheel.
We’ve seen children who struggle in traditional classrooms light up when creating with their hands.
We’ve worked with seniors who tell us this is the first time in years they’ve felt part of something meaningful.
Clay lowers anxiety.
Clay builds confidence.
Clay creates belonging.
And belonging is something our world desperately needs.
Your donation helps us:
Provide free programming for underserved children
Offer free or reduced programming for retirees
Expand access for the special needs and hearing-impaired communities
Support instructors, materials, and adaptive equipment
Preserve our historic arts campus for future generations
Every dollar directly supports hands-on creative experiences for people who need them most.
A Community Gem Worth Protecting
We may not sit in a downtown arts district — but that’s part of our magic.
Tucked into historic buildings and surrounded by Pennsylvania hills, Kettle Creek is a place people discover and never forget.
It is an undiscovered gem becoming a community cornerstone.
And with your help, we can ensure it remains open, accessible, and growing.
