Oskar's Story

Oskar was found in a skeletal state in the mountains of Turkey, suffering from a respiratory infection. He had to fight for his life among packs of stray dogs. The situation for abandoned dogs in Turkey is heartbreaking, and boxers struggle to survive in that environment. This is evident by the scars on his body and ear.
Today Oskar is living in a quiet town outside if Hershey, PA. He has a yard to run in, toys to play with, beds of his choice to sleep in, snacks and treats (he loves rotisserie chicken), daily walks, hikes in the woods (his favorite) and lots and lots of love.
Oskar is the best boy. He listens to commands, gives a ton of kisses and loves a good morning scratch. Hard to believe the dog we see today came from such a horrible environment.
We are so grateful to Adopt A Boxer for trusting us with his care. Without rescue, he would still be living in deplorable conditions.
Please help rescue provide the opportunity for all dogs to find a loving home.
