Adopt a Boxer Rescue - Chesapeake Open - HYC

ALL PROCEEDS SUPPORT ADOPT A BOXER RESCUE (AABR).

I am a crafter and I love dogs. I make things for the rescue to sell at events. The things I made are boxer and generic dog lover items such as door wreaths, dish towels, wine bottle totes, etches glasses and such, and all proceeds go to AABR.

AABR is such a wonderful rescue. They truly care about their dogs and rescue them from deplorable conditions. They work within north-eastern US to include Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, northern Virginia, Washington DC, New Hampshire (within an hour of Massachusetts) and Rhode Island (adoptions only). They very thoroughly investigate the readiness of foster or adopters and ensure that all dogs get their medical needs met before adoption. If you are not familiar with boxer dogs, they are very smart, emotional, playful and protective. They can be so silly yet are so loyal and loving. Personally, I've been hooked on this breed for 20 years, and I'm dedicated to helping to rescue those in need. AABR really takes care of their dogs, who typically require a lot of medical treatment. Every dollar supports the rescued dogs.

For 24 hours—from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.—on the first Thursday in June every year, donors may make secure donations to their favorite local nonprofit organizations through the NEPA Gives online platform. Donations to participating nonprofits will be enhanced with bonus funds provided by NEPA Gives sponsors—making donor dollars stretch further!
