Kevin's Story

    My dog Kevin, or as my family likes to call him Beefy, was born into a household of horrible breeding. As much as he may not look like it with his floppy ears, Beefy is a French bulldog. In this household of this vicious breeding, Beefy was the only dog without the classic French bulldog ears. Due to him not looking as "good" as the other dogs, Beef was thrown into a cold barn in the middle of the winter. This is when Adopt a Boxer Rescue stepped in to rescue him from these harsh conditions. He was rescued on 12/23/2024, just two days before Christmas. He started his rescue journey at my house which was then a foster house. My Beefy was pretty shy when he first came into my home, but from the moment me and my siblings saw him, we knew he had found his forever home. My brother who is usually not a big dog lover saw this puppy, and just after a few minutes of getting to meet him told me and my parents, "We are keeping this dog." And for me on the other hand became so close with him to the point where I wouldn't be able to handle it if he had left to go be in another home. Right then and there we signed all of the papers needed and welcomed Kevin into our home FOREVER. I can't express more graditude to the Adopt a Boxer Rescue non-profit for giving my Beef a loving home. I believe if it wasn't for them, my Beef would have froze to death in that barn.
