Congolese Community of Scranton Fund

The Congolese Community of Scranton is a refugee-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering families as they transition and integrate into their new country. We design and deliver practical, community-driven solutions that address critical needs, including access to fresh and nutritious food through communal urban gardening, free translation, Women empowerment, Free Health Info Sessions and interpretation services, and reliable transportation support for community members.

Our programs also include after-school support for refugee students to promote academic success, as well as initiatives that preserve and celebrate African cultures and traditions. In addition, we provide essential clerical and immigration assistance to help families navigate complex systems with dignity and confidence.

Through these efforts, we are building a stronger, more connected, and self-sufficient community.
