Thanks for an amazing PMSD & Caring Professional Resolutions - Youth Employment & Life Skills - "Professionals in the School"

2025/2026 school year❣️

Everyone enrolled in the youth program obtained an I-9 document, obtained a job/placement, and/or was accepted into a college.

They also gained professional CareerLink, employment services, transportation, military, and banking skills, and/or were scheduled to graduate, except for our one sophomore.
She is moving on to the next grade  and has participated in and been successful in sports and a leadership program.
Another student has successfully aged out of high school and was given a support coordinator, is awaiting placement, and other services that were put into place earlier this year❣️

Many other students in different grade levels were able to participate and benefit from lead teacher Mrs. Gaus,  guest speakers, and general information from this youth program this year❣️

In 2023, a young woman enrolled in CPR's Out of School Youth Program — and she wasn't a stranger to the foundation. A family member had successfully completed a CPR youth program nearly a decade earlier, so this was truly a legacy of impact.

After completing the Out of School Youth Program, her family enrolled her in CPR's In School Youth Program. From there, she thrived. She secured a job at Kalahari, participated in Monroe County's largest job fair, attended her prom, earned her driver's permit, co-hosted a community event, and graduated from high school — receiving special recognition for her achievements in horticulture and the arts.

Her accomplishments didn't stop there. She was recognized by Sergeant Major Claudette Williams and had the opportunity to meet Senator Rosemary Brown. Along the way, she also developed skills as an artist and budding entrepreneur.

Her story is a testament to what's possible when a young person has the right support — and what it means to invest in a community across generations.
