Sights for Hope

Your giving turns possibility into progress. Sights for Hope is a nonprofit organization that empowers people to maximize their potential however they see the world. When we build capabilities in people with blindness and visual impairments, equip children to read in kindergarten, and enrich our neighbors’ lives with habits that protect their eyesight, people in our communities gain the confidence to act, adapt, and succeed. We have proudly provided our programs and services at little or no cost in Pennsylvania’s Monroe County and Lehigh Valley. All funds raised from the NEPA Gives 24-Hour Campaign will support our programs and services for Monroe County residents. 

What We Do

•    Strengthen Skills: We strengthen skills that enable people with blindness and visual impairments to take control of their lives and equip our neighbors to take control of their eye health. Our clients learn how much they can accomplish through new techniques, and community members build confidence in how they see the world.

•    Deliver Supports: We deliver supports that enable people with vision loss to access essential resources, pursue opportunities, and strengthen their personal wellbeing. Our professionals understand the specific needs of people with blindness and visual impairments and provide them the tools and strategies to move forward with confidence.

•    Champion Solutions: We champion solutions that remove limits to human potential at every stage of life. Our specialists source assistive devices that expand the adaptive abilities of people with vision loss. Our vision screenings and community partnerships equip children to read in kindergarten.
