Wayne County Arts Alliance

The Wayne County Arts Alliance is dedicated to "enriching our community through the arts".  Our programs and events promote arts awareness and showcase the county's arts community.  We are professional artists, amateur artists, and art lovers who share an appreciation and love for the arts anchored in the belief that Arts in our community enrich the lives of us all.

Created in 2023 by six artists, we have now grown to hundreds of members and reach many hundreds more each year who are participants, visitors and fans.  This year's Student Art Exhibition "TREE" featured art by over 700 county school students.  The WCAA Gallery will present 9 more Exhibitions in 2026 showcasing member and guest artists with a wide variety of art including paintings, photography, ceramics, glass, metal, fiber and more.  We are led by a volunteer board and most of our events, especially the Gallery are free to the public.  We depend on donations and our membership dues to fund our many projects and events.

Some of our recent projects include:  WCAA Gallery;  The Great Wall of Honesdale;  Artists' Studio Tour;  Outdoor Summer Art;  Holiday Art Sale; and more.

Our mission is to enrich our community through the arts. Activities and events vary each year depending on the members' interests. We are what our membership creates.
