For 141 years, The Salvation Army Scranton Citadel Corps has stood as a steady, compassionate presence in the Greater Scranton community. Generation after generation, we have walked alongside families and individuals in their most difficult moments—offering emergency assistance, food, shelter, and a pathway toward hope and stability.

This year, we have the incredible opportunity to send 40 children from our community to Camp Ladore in Waymart, PA—an overnight Salvation Army camp where inner‑city youth step away from the pressures of daily life and discover the beauty of the outdoors, the joy of new friendships, and the life‑changing message of Jesus Christ.
