Camp Orchard Hill

HELP US SAY YES...to their Best Week Ever!  

At Camp Orchard Hill, we specialize in outdoor adventures...boat rides, fort building, catching fish and eating drippy ice cream cones with your best friends!  We believe that young people thrive when they have the opportunity to unplug and play, build positive relationships, grow their faith and enjoy the outdoors.  And our fully inclusive Day Camp program allows campers of all abilities to participate...together!  Best Week Ever Day and Overnight Camps allow young people to grow in faith, in skills and in friendships that will impact them for life!  

The demand is increasing!  

• Our summer camp programs have grown 70% in the last 5 years with 5,781 campers attending Day, Overnight and Partner programs during the summer of 2025.  That represents 1,018 weeks of inclusive programming for campers with specialized support needs! 

• We now serve kids and families across three campuses in Northeastern PA!  Our Dallas campus serves kids and families from the Wyoming Valley and Back Mountain areas.  Our Drums campus serves kids and families from the Greater Hazleton Area and our Tunkhannock campus serves kids and families from Scranton, Clarks Summit, Tunkhannock and surrounding communities.  

• Rising prices have made it difficult for families to afford summer programs. And for families with special needs children, the cost of regular care and treatment makes summer camp seem out of reach, even though it so beneficial and life changing.   In 2025, we gave out $140,000 in grant and scholarship funding for campers who would not otherwise be able to attend camp.  

Your donation on NEPA Gives day will go directly to our scholarship fund!  Each dollar will help us say yes to a camp experience for children with financial need and children with specialized support needs.  

• $25 will sponsor a camper with special needs to attend Respite Saturday!

• $70 will provide a scholarship for a camper to attend one day of Day Camp!

• $100 will cover the deposit for a camper to attend Overnight Camp!

• $280 will provide a full week of Day Camp Respite Care for a camper with specialized support needs!

• $595 will provide a scholarship for a student to attend a full week of Overnight Camp!
