Junior Achievement of NEPA

Junior Achievement (JA) of NEPA prepares our local youth for a successful future. Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences and volunteer interactions, JA helps students see the relevance of what they are learning in the classroom and its application to the real world, acquire and enhance the skills they need to be successful in the workplace or post-secondary institutions, and recognize the value of an education. The goal is for students to have the tools they need to make informed decisions and prepared for the real world.

Junior Achievement is the nation’s largest non profit organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices. Junior Achievement offers career-connected learning experiences at no cost to school districts across our region thanks to our generous community donors and partners who also provide volunteer role models to deliver the Junior Achievement activities. Junior Achievement’s hands-on learning experiences drive student engagement, which is a powerful indicator of long term career and financial success. Nationally, Junior Achievement reaches more than 3.2 million students per year.
