Rotary Club of Jim Thorpe

The Jim Thorpe Rotary Club is all about fellowship and service to the local community.  We are a small but mighty group with 28 members and growing.  As a club, our motto is service above self.

To that end, in the last five years, we have contributed more than $160,000 from our charitable fund to local organizations in Jim Thorpe and across Carbon County.  Our members have contributed 2,000 volunteer hours.  Together, our efforts have directly impacted 3,500 people and indirectly impacting countless more,

Some of our more well-known programs include:

• A free 8-week Summer Recreation camp for Jim Thorpe families
• Ghost Walks tours in downtown Jim Thorpe in the Fall
• Scholarship awards for area graduating high school seniors

Jim Thorpe Rotary is an affiliate of Rotary International, a worldwide organization consisting of 30,000 clubs and 1.2 million members in 160 countries.  Our club also supports international service efforts, including eliminating polio, feeding the hungry, supporting literacy, and supplying clean water in the underdeveloped world.

Join us for a Meeting!

Our club meets in-person at Carbon Career & Technical Institute (CCTI) and virtually through Google Meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.  All meetings are from 12:00 - 1:00 PM.  We welcome visitors and new members!
