A Moment of Magic is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing play, connection, and mental health support to medically vulnerable children and their families. Founded in 2014, we have reached more than 185,000 children nationwide — and we are proud to serve families right here in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

✨ Hospital & Community Visits

Our trained volunteers bring character experiences, creative activities, and interactive engagement directly to children in hospitals and community settings. These visits are thoughtfully designed to support emotional wellbeing, reduce anxiety, and restore a sense of normalcy.

A hospital room can feel overwhelming. Through imagination and play, we help transform it into a place of laughter and empowerment.

💛 Express, Create, Heal

Express, Create, Heal is our evidence-informed mental health initiative that introduces age-appropriate social-emotional learning to children navigating medical challenges.

Through guided activities, storytelling, and creative expression, children explore:

• Body image and self-confidence
• Emotional regulation tools
• Identity beyond diagnosis
• Coping strategies during treatment

This programming supports not only the child, but also families and caregivers who are navigating the emotional weight of medical uncertainty.

🌟 AMoM Unlimited

AMoM Unlimited ensures that magic is not limited by geography, hospital access, or physical presence.

Through on-demand digital content, virtual character visits, interactive storytelling, and guided wellness experiences, AMoM Unlimited allows children in Northeastern Pennsylvania — including those at home, in rural communities, or undergoing outpatient treatment — to access joy and connection anytime.
