Ringtown Area Library Assn

The Ringtown Area Library is a busy & vibrant place, engaging community members from birth to senior citizens and every age in between. The library is celebrating 50 years of service to the Ringtown Valley in June of 2026 thanks to support from people like you.

Did you know?

• The library serves over 9,000 annual visitors with Free public library services.
• Ringtown Area Library patrons borrowed 11,000 items during 2025, including free e-books & e-audio.
• 2,500 people attended 140 programs hosted by the library last year.
• In addition to extensive children's programs like Mother Goose on the Loose, Storytime, Preschool Playtime, Summer STEM and 3D printing lessons, the library also offers adult programs including free chair yoga and puzzle races.
• The library is always adapting to community needs by offering innovative new library services and community programs.
• The library maintains a permanent StoryWalk® at the Union Township walking trail which displays approximately 8 different storybooks throughout the year.
• We are a "Play and Grow" library. Library staff are trained and committed to providing high quality preschool programming and library environment for families with young children.
• The library does not charge a fee for the majority of our services, making our valuable resources available to all residents.

The library is Not fully funded with public dollars.  In fact, we receive less than 30% of our total budget from government sources.  The remaining 70% of operating expenses are funded by donations & fundraising efforts.
