Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library

The Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library provides educational and recreational materials and programs FREE of charge without discrimination or bias to the Orwigsburg community, surrounding municipalities and throughout Schuylkill County and beyond.

The Orwigsburg Library is a 503 ( C ) non-profit organization. The Orwigsburg Library strives to meet the needs of the community and Patrons by evolving and changing in order to meet those needs. The Library accommodated senior patrons by adding earlier hours and listened when local families asked the Library to include a Home School Program. The Library has programming, events and services to meet the needs and whims of the ever growing and changing patronage. Communities help to build strong Libraries and strong Libraries help to build communities. The Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library is open 50 hours a week to serve the public and has a wealth of materials to share.  The Orwigsburg Library serves over 6,000 Active Patrons.
