About Eastern Monroe Public Library
The Monroe County Public Library d.b.a. Eastern Monroe Public Library serves Monroe County, Pennsylvania, with a mission to provide free and equitable access to information, education, and community resources for all ages.
Established in 1916, the library system includes:
- Hughes Main Library in Stroudsburg
- Library of the Smithfields
- Bookmobile outreach services throughout the county
The library offers books, digital resources, public computers, educational programs, and community events that support lifelong learning.
