The Grove: A Create Commons provides an inspiring space to gather, create, and grow both individually and together through the arts. 

The area around Blooming Grove lacks a third space where residents can come together and experience the immense emotional, interpersonal, and economic benefits arts and cultural programming can offer a community. We're fundraising to open this critical resource and building connections along the way.

Strengthening the Community

Bonds are strengthened when people come together in pursuit of creativity. Connections happen over craft paper and markers, friendships blossom on the dancefloor, and partnerships spark over shared interests. By providing space and opportunity for creativity, we're improving mental health, fighting the loneliness pandemic, and inspiring people to do good. 

Supporting the Arts

The Grove provides artists opportunities to share their talents, whether it's teaching an oil-painting class, performing for a crowd, or displaying and selling their work. We're also inspiring the next generation of artists by giving them chances to learn a new artform or hone their skills. Magic happens when generations come together to teach and to learn.

Boosting the Local Economy

Arts and culture has a particular way of not only increasing personal satisfaction for residents but also increasing investment of time and resources in their local community. We partner with local businesses and nonprofits in all we do, hosting workshops and classes at local venues, teaming up for live events, and bringing people together at local spots they might not have explored yet. We're firm believers that a rising tide lifts all boats, and collaboration makes all of us stronger.
