Friends of the Sullivan County Library

The Friends of the Sullivan County Library is a volunteer 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated and committed to providing community support to the Sullivan County Library.  The funds raised through NEPA Gives will be used for support of current and future programs for the citizens of Sullivan County and surrounding communities.  

How Funds Will Be Used:

1) Continued financial support of educational programs to reach both youth and adult citizens of Sullivan County and surrounding communities, such as Storytime for preschool children, programming for home-schooled children, as well as programming allowing for connection for teens and adults, especially senior citizens. 

2) Support current and future programs such as adult book clubs, Storytime opportunities during the week and weekends, clubs for enthusiasts of Mah Jongg, chess, Pokemon, Legos, and Dungeons & Dragons,  Book Bingo for kids and adults, nursing home outreach, musical performances, physical activity like dance instruction and Pickleball, and so much more! 

3) Improvements to the physical space of the Library and adding materials to the collection.

3) Streamline operations to effectively use volunteers for fund raising events and delivery of programs.
