$30,000 Goal

Since 1994, Countryside Conservancy has been working hard to preserve the natural beauty and rural character of northeastern Pennsylvania. Thanks to the dedication of community members like you, we’ve permanently protected over 2,500 acres of land and waterways across Lackawanna, Susquehanna, and Wyoming counties.

Our mission goes beyond land protection—we’re building a deeper connection between people and the land. From turning the historic Northern Electric Trolley right-of-way into a scenic non-motorized trail, to hosting nature walks, plein air paint-outs, and educational hikes, we’ve ramped up our programming to create meaningful outdoor experiences for all.

Here’s just a glimpse of what we’ve accomplished this past year:

  • Walk With a Doc: Community health meets the outdoors on the first Saturday of every month.
  • Plein Air Paint Outs: Artists capture the beauty of the Trolley Trail and share it with trail users.
  • Storytime in the Preserves: Families enjoy outdoor readings with local libraries.
  • Nature Discovery Hikes: Learn to identify trees, mushrooms, birds, and even rock formations.

But none of this happens without your help.

We need your support to maintain our trails and expand the programs that bring people into nature. Your contribution directly helps us care for these cherished lands and keep offering engaging, educational experiences for everyone.

Please consider making a gift today. Together, we can ensure these trails—and the memories made on them—continue to grow.
