Tunkhannock Area Recreation Association (TARA) empowers and enriches our region by providing inclusive, high-quality recreational opportunities that strengthen community, promote active and healthy lifestyles, and connect people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to the outdoors and each other. TARA fosters a welcoming environment where discovery, play, learning, and belonging unite to build a vibrant and engaged recreational culture for the Tunkhannock area.

TARA and Get Out! Tunkhannock are in service to the community for the purposes of promoting and providing active outdoor recreation, education, community togetherness, and environmental awareness.
