While everyone else is practicing their cannonballs, we are the ones making sure the summer stays safe. Being a Stroud Region lifeguard is about a lot more than just a whistle. It means being the first ones at the pool and the last ones to leave so our neighbors can have a great day.

We watch over more than 25,000 visitors across our public pools each summer, from the tiniest new swimmers to the lap swim regulars. It is a huge responsibility to manage a regional system for 30,000 residents, but our team is up for the challenge. We are the ones training in the rain and keeping our rescue skills sharp to make sure the water is ready for you.

The Counselor vs. Guard Challenge
We are in a head-to-head race with the Camp Counselors to see who can get the most individual donors! Whether it is $5 or $50, your donation counts as one "vote" for the lifeguards.

Every dollar keeps the Stroud Region swimming.
