We, the Catholic community of the Diocese of Scranton, are called through Baptism to imitate the servant leadership of Jesus Christ. In union with our Holy Father, the Pope, we proclaim the Gospel faithfully, celebrate the sacraments joyfully, and boldly promote life, justice and peace in northeastern and north central Pennsylvania.

The Catholic Community of the Diocese of Scranton spans 11 counties and consists of 110 parishes and 19 Catholic schools. Additionally, we serve the people of God through multiple food kitchens, food pantries, homeless shelters, and housing facilities as well as the Catholic Youth Center in Wilkes-Barre, the St. Vincent de Paul Kitchen in Wilkes-Barre, the St. Joseph Food Pantry in Hazleton, St. Francis Kitchen in Scranton and Catholic Social Services.

For NEPA Gives 2025, we once again ask you to help us ROUSE ONE ANOTHER TO LOVE AND GOOD WORKS, and we're asking friends from every corner of the diocese to consider making a gift that will represent a meaningful investment in the important projects highlighted on our cause pages.

Front and center in our NEPA Gives campaign once again this year are all of our Catholic schools, which are undergoing a strategic growth phase while turning faith-filled eyes and hearts toward a brave, bold future that will prepare our students to be pioneers in this world even as they remain pilgrims focused on their journey toward the next.
