Tri-State Chorale

Started in 2016 the 501(c)3 Tri-State Chorale consists of local singers, of varied abilities, dedicated to vocal quality and performance excellence for the education and enjoyment of both its members and greater community. Our mission is to offer FREE CONCERTS so that everyone may have the opportunity to experience the joy of live performances of choral music.

Our repertoire includes classical, gospel, folk, and theatrical pieces. We sponsor student memberships; actively support and celebrate diversity; and we are united by kindness, compassion, empathy and a shared love of choral music.

We are funded through membership dues, donations, grants and program advertisements. All student memberships, professional musicians, soloists, venues, sheet music and programs costs are funded by member dues, program ads, donations, and the generosity of sponsors like Milford Presents, the Greater Pike Community Foundation, and the Richard L. Snyder Fund.

New This Year:  DONORS (INCLUDING NEPA GIVES DONORS) OF $500 and up, WILL BE LISTED AS SPONSORS ON OUR PRINTED CONCERT POSTERS/FLYERS & PROGRAM!

Our Director, Mr. Matthew Rupcich, has a degree in Music Education from the Peabody Conservatory of John Hopkins University where he also studied voice with Phyllis Bryn-Julson. Mr. Rupcich received his Master's degree in choral conducting from the University of Maryland. Currently Mr. Rupcich is also the music director of the Arcadia Chorale (Scranton, PA), and the First Presbyterian Church Choir (Hawley, PA). Every rehearsal starts with vocal technique warm-ups and from there, in a supported environment, we learn how to blend our voices as we re-create beautiful, live choral music.

Thank you for considering the Tri-State Chorale for your donation.  Even if you cannot make a donation at this event we hope you might take the time to come join us for one of our
